The main aim of this volume is to increase understanding of burns and their management and the role that occupational therapists and physiotherapists play in the treatment of the burn patient.;The chapters are drawn from work carried out in specialized burns units by teams of specialists, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, plastic surgeons and medical social workers. The role of the team is identified and treatment methods in returning the patient home with the minimum amount of disability are discussed.
