London, 1906. Theodosia Throckmorton has plenty of things to do at the London Museum of Legends and Antiquities. Her father works there, but Theo is the only one who can detect the curses and black magic that preserve the objects of the museum. So when her mother returns from a trip with the Heart of Egypt, a legendary amulet, Theo realizes that she is dealing with something very different. The objects curse is so potent that it threatens the British Empire itself. Theo will have to gather strength and use everything she has learned deactivate the curse... and even travel to Egypt!
