Tout le role de Pedro et ses rencontres continuelles avec Louis Perez, qu'il redoute et qu'il fuit, sont du meilleur comique. Enfin il y a dans le caractere d'isabelle une resolution qui annonce la digue soeur de Perez et dans celui de Juana quelques traits d'une douceur charmante.
