Publisher's Synopsis
It tells of Yousef, a shepherd, and his wife, Martha, who made small smoked cheeses to supplement their meagre income. They are summoned to Bethlehem to pay their taxes. They decide to set up a stall there and light a very bright beacon to advertise their baby cheeses. Joseph and Mary are also in Bethlehem, where Mary gives birth to a very special baby boy. Three wise men travel from the east to bring him gifts. They are told to follow a bright star. Unfortunately, there are what seems to be two bright stars over Bethlehem, and not speaking the local language, there is a great deal of humorous confusion that all ends happily.
