Publisher's Synopsis

When a young woman's body is found in the middle of a field the police are baffled as to how she got there. They deduce correctly that she must have fallen from an airplane either landing or departing from a small nearby airport. There are no other clues to speak of and the case soon ends up in the Cold Case file. Sometime later, however, an unidentified caller informs a local newspaper reporter that the young woman's name was Estelle. With that new bit of information the city council agrees to bring in two private investigators to work on the case since the police do not have the manpower to work on the case. The two investigators soon learn that there are sinister forces involved with the woman's death and they too become targets. A good read for the mystery fan.
