Bookseller Notes

Inscribed by one of the artists on the flyleaf: 'Margaret, From Ivy Anne'. Both of the artists were Birmingham based, and associated with the School of Printing there - Ellis have trained under Sleigh at the Birmingham College of Art. A charming pictorial moral tale, warning of the consequences of avarice. Scarce, the BL only on LibraryHub, from which the approximate date gleaned.
