Publisher's Synopsis
Kassie has been a Warden for a few months now and it's time for her to find a Mage, her magic wielding partner that'll help her take down the demon, Kyux, and her army. Eliza is a regular civilian determined to bring down a spirit on her own to prove she can become a Warden to her overprotective veteran mother. After their fated encounter, Kassie chooses Eliza to be her partner and Eliza leaves her mother to join her as a Warden. However, there's more to her mother's past service than she admitted, and Kassie must choose between vengeance for her parents, or to be there for Eliza as her family's crimes catch up with her.
