Sometimes we choose not to see God at all, and then it gets in the way of lives. It gets in the way of our writing, too. For Peter, a ghostwriter, those were his demons: a lot of doubt, suicide, the trials of being a father and husband. You see, Peter really didn't want to die, but he came close.
