Publisher's Synopsis
The Welcoming Table is not an inclusive theme in this manuscript of poems. However, there is a line of thought that tie food as a welcoming stable to the table of my foe. It goes back to the statement once said to me, "show yourself as friendly." This come as a back drop to the scripture that states, "Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies." My thoughts about writing The Welcoming Table came at a time when faced by those who conspire against me.
