Publisher's Synopsis

Laurie grew up in west Toronto and moved to Barrie with her husband, Bob, in 1980 to raise a family. She now has two grown married children and a granddaughter, Eden Jane, who is as enthralled with "momma" as Laurie continues to be. Laurie is an interior designer who owns a design consulting business and retail store in Barrie. Her and Bob now live in Hawkestone, ON. The adjustment to lakeside living in an older cottage was a challenge, as they struggled to adjust to their new surroundings, Laurie's older brother lost his struggle with cancer and mother soon followed unexpectedly less than a week later. As winter turned into spring and summer, she was left with a lonely and aching heart. Laurie and Bob began attending Trinity Community Church and an Alpha course and soon realized a hunger that had always been there. They now attend Connexus in Barrie. This journal and its insights from nature are the result of daily, faithful readings of God's Word. Any comments or questions may be directed to [email protected].
