The book provides an autobiographical account of a British-Afghan mother and daughter who have encountered and triumphed various battles ranging from displacement, discrimination, deception, and loss. The second part is dedicated to a series of poems which encapsulates topical themes around the way we relate to society, relationships, as well as our relationship to ourselves. The final section is a compilation of wellbeing topics and resources to aid readers in promoting their mental health and wellbeing, particularly as it is grounded in author's standing as a qualified and practicing mental health professional.
