Publisher's Synopsis
A clash of tridents sends the aquatic world spinning into chaos. A liquid wall distorts all ocean sounds. Silence is noise and noise is silence. War is peace and peace is war. Only two lovers can communicate clearly through the wall and prevent a full-scale trident war.
As a gesture of peace, Oceanus agrees to hold a mass wedding in which his daughters and will get married to Poseidon's sons. The wedding quickly falls into disarray when Myriella refuses to marry the man her father chose for her. Triton feels an unspoken bond to her, but Poseidon's other sons wish to marry Myriella. The two kingdoms collide when Myriella wishes to marry Triton. Poseidon and Oceanus gather their respective armies and prepare for imminent war.
A wall of dense sea water forms a phonetic rift inside the deep. Triton and Myriella are the only ones who can understand each other. They watch as Poseidon goes to war with Oceanus. Can the two lovers dissolve the wall and restore peace and order between the kingdoms?
