Publisher's Synopsis
A cold chill ran through Lee. He could accept that someone could look just like Sanderson. But having the indentation in the middle of the forehead seemed like to much of a coincidence. still, he was sure that it was Sanderson's body that he'd seen in the morgue. And if Sanderson were alive, Lee knew they would have heard from him long before now. After all, he wanted that cursed clock, and Lee knew that he would stop at nothing to get it, if he were alive. Suddenly Lee remembered something: Sanderson had a son named Jared who was the spitting image of his father, indentation and all. That must be who Sofia had seen. Lee hasn't thought about Jared for years, that must be why he didn't think of him right away when Sofia said she saw Sanderson. As for Sofia thinking that he had recognized her, that had to be her imagination.
