The Vanishing Tower is a collection of short stories that tell of an enchanted tower. This enchanted tower greatly enhances the arcane abilities of anyone who controls it. But, like most thing that appear to give you enormous reward for nothing, it comes at a great cost. The Vanishing Tower is a thing of great evil. Its evil will burrow its way into the soul of its user and corrupt completely. Where this tower comes from and to what end it was created, no one can say. But it seems to pre-date mankind by many thousands of years. Master Mage Ravensbane and his apprentice Femaus search the libraries of the greatest city in the land for answers. They search for clues about this enchanted tower. Master Ravensbane is worried for his former apprentice Maslenn because of changes in his personality. They have frequently found the tower in the background during troubling times. Somehow the tower seems to have passed down through the ages without notice. Leaving in its wake ruin destruction and death.
