The Urban Survivalist Handbook

The Urban Survivalist Handbook is a preparation guide written to provide valuable information to the reader on how to prepare for any event whether it be Man made or Mother Nature's wrath. When an emergency is upon you the time for preparation has passed and hindsight is always 20/20. As long as there is a will to survive and you have the knowledge then you can survive. You have to now ask yourself a couple of questions. Do you have the knowledge to survive? Do you have the means to survive without water flowing through your tap or power to your home? It may not be the survival of the fittest anymore it just may be the survival of the smartest. To see the future just look to the past, for history always repeats itself. The world has suffered through Recessions, Depressions, Pandemics and Epidemics, Terrorist Attacks, Civil Unrest or Acts of God. These are the things we need to prepare for. If you prepare for the future you will not suffer when the time comes to present it's self. If you don't think that bad things has not happened in America just think about this. September 11th 2001 Terrorist murdered almost 3000 Americans. In 1993, 54 people died and 403,000 people became ill during a two week period after an outbreak of Cryptosporidium in the city's water system of Milwaukee. On August 14th 2003 55 million people were left in the dark without power for days due to an overloaded power grid and a untrimmed tree. These are just a few examples of why we need to be prepared.
