Description and comments At nearly 200 feet tall (and 13 hotel stories), The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a visual landmark, and one of Disney World′s most meticulously themed attractions, with an elaborate storyline, fantastic details, real thrills and dizzying mind trips, and that blend of humor and horror that really sticks to ya. (It cost nearly $100,000 to construct in the early 1990s, and that doesn′t count the several rounds of tinkering and terrorizing since.) The Tower of Terror is unique, in that the ride is never exactly the same because the drops and jerks are randomly selected, and not even the number of seconds (which can feel like minutes) that a drop lasts is entirely predictable.
