Alex Pickwick wishes he had a different last name. No matter where he goes, he's always recognized as being a part of the famous British family, the Pickwick's, despite living in New York with his parents, Charles and Linda Pickwick. When a comical mishap occurs during high school graduation, Alex ends up running away from home with his two best friends, the family butler, and a high school football player who harbors a secret of his own.
"The Unique, Not-So-Perfect Life of Alex Pickwick" is an unofficial continuation of the Charles Dickens novel, "The Pickwick Papers." Alex Pickwick features a plus-sized gay main character, a social media-obsessed best friend, and a cast of some very comedic characters who are guaranteed to entertain you and leave you wanting to have your own unbelievable shenanigans.
