Excerpt from The Twentieth Century Money Law

Clause 1. Henceforth the current fiat-money of the United States' shall consist in form, power, and substance as defined in the several Clauses of the succeeding sections: and all the United States' money and all the People's credit now in use at par with cornered gold, shall, under the effect of this Act, come down from the too high average (i897 - 9) United States' level indicated by 38 per cent. Of labor-value in silver-bullion (worth only OI per cent. In cornered gold par-money) until the 1793 - 1873 average United States' parity of 15v; silver for 01 per cent. Gold shall be reached, on the way, under the farther effects of this Act, to the most just and natural higher average value of silver in gold and the same lower natural value of gold in silver which obtained for; (say, ) 5000 years, via, one gold for ten silver.
