This Poem was written to my mother. A Little Something Mama, a little something to say goodbye You were my mom, you were my best friend You were everything to me even at the end You were the brave one Who helped me keep my feet on the ground. Mama I know you knew how much you meant to me I should have learned to express my feelings, But I knew you always knew I loved you, not only because you were my mama, But because you were my best friend and my hero. Mama, you taught me wrong from right You taught me how to be strong And fight for what was right You taught me to forgive and never cast blame Mama you were my world.
