Publisher's Synopsis
Vicki Mason was hanging out with a rough crowd and their influence was about to get her in bad trouble. In order to protect her daughter, Patricia Mason sends Vicki to her aunt and uncle in Texas for the summer. Things aren't any better there for awhile. She finds she has met her match in the form of a younger cousin. She experiences wormy spaghetti, orange hair, and eventually ends up arrested. In exchange for a second chance and having her record cleared, Vicki performs community service at a senior citizen's housing complex. Vicki realizes that she doesn't have to be rebellious to establish her own identity.
