The continuing adventures of Sasha Vaporsteps and her sister the Blackbird Queen. Once again the sisters find themselves up to their necks in magic, violence, double dealing and of course mayhem! Sasha falls back into her killer mindset after a pair of humans attack her younger sister. She and Fendi go on a killing spree while other friends try to find the pair and get them to stop. Melody and Caleb incur the wrath of a monster army that comes down from the north to destroy them both along with the entire city of Grandsite. Wisteria embarks on a series of double crosses that almost cost her life, the end finds her as the Herald for the Sorcerers Six.
