Publisher's Synopsis
With the ancient world of Sethosia steeped in a bloody civil war between a tyrannical regime and splintered rebel factions, the universe can seem a very cruel and indifferent place. Self-proclaimed religious authorities slaughter those who refuse to adopt their skewed dogma while mercenaries and scavengers look to cash-in on the suffering and displaced. Amidst this grim setting, the assault frigate Coywolf, her captain JJ, pilot Lucy, and warrior Regena, are contracted to safely transport twenty high-value refugees off Sethosia and through pirate-infested space. Along the way the crew's lives are unexpectedly changed as they cope with their past, explore their passions, and reconsider their future.
