The Evergreen, a unique anthology of poetry, prose and artwork in 4 volumes from Edinburgh's Old Town, revisits a 400-year old tradition that sparked the Evergreen anthologies of Allan Ramsay and Patrick Geddes, inspiring a civic and cultural revival within Edinburgh and beyond. After 120 years, it's back! The previous volumes were inspired by Patrick Geddes original triad of 'Place, Work, Folk'. This fourth and final volume adds the theme 'Future.' The final volume in the series breaks with the Evergreen tradition of Allan Ramsay and Patrick Geddes by featuring only female contributors: editorial, prose fiction and non-fiction, poetry and illustration.
