Publisher's Synopsis

In 2525 Ariel Shulman, a Quantum Mechanic of the 32nd Degree invents a time travel machine. Climate change has forced humans to live underground and utilize cooled greenhouse domes to produce food. Ariel obtains a trove of lost information tracking the progress of climate change, which had been hidden in two pillars, artifacts of an old Masonic Temple. His Guild and the Historians Guild utilize this information to plot interventions to restore the Earth. The Lodge of the High Council of Time debates interventions. In 2021, FBI Agent Jim "Mulder" White is called on to investigate a strange case of miners getting the bends and dying, which appears to be impossible. He is joined by Dr. Yulia Tokarev, an expert in such matters and on loan to the CDC from Russia. Their activities soon attract the attention of a group of Masonic Scientists who are collecting and hiding information in the pillars of the sanctum sanctorum of their Lodge. Extra dimensional sentient life forms find a strange way to send a warning concerning climate change to the inhabitants of Earth. The three groups, all with different agendas, collide, form alliances, and fight each other to promote their ideas to transform the Earth. Which group will prevail and will the Earth be a better or worse place after they are done? Each has a different hypothesis about the price the Earth needs to pay to remain habitable. Who is the Hero and who is the Villain? Will history be changed and global warming thwarted?
