In the first place, October 11, 1897, was Brooklyn Day at the Nashville Exposition, and October 12 was New York State Day. The State Commissioners named by Governor Morton were: John C. Eames, New York, President; Timo thy L. Woodruff, Vice President; Geo. F. Kunz, New York.
