Publisher's Synopsis
Narrated by the murderer of an old man with a 'vulture eye'. The evil deed is carefully planned, and the killer dismembers his unfortunate victim and hides the reamins beneath his floorboards - but his guilt manifests itself in hallucinations of the old man's heart still beating under the floorboards.
