This is the second book in the Gus the Ghost-Face Dog Series. Two cousins, Ethan and Calum (Cal), spend their summer vacations and holidays at their grandparent's ranch in the Texas Hill Country. In the third story, Ethan and Gus go back in time and make friends with a pioneer boy named Tommy, when suddenly they are confronted by a screaming panther.
