One good police story from beginning to end. When Islamic terrorist bring an atomic bomb to Chicago, it will be the local police that must deal with it. In complete secrecy, an atomic bomb, intended to annihilate millions, is discovered by gang crimes detectives after making a drug arrest. They confirm that it's in town but haven't a clue where. Their efforts to locate the bomb, before it destroys their city, lead them from clue to clue, where fanatics would rather die than provide any information. They are also willing to kill to protect that information. Join these dedicated detectives as they chase down lead after lead, getting into gunfights and chases, while facing danger at every stop along the way in their efforts to save Chicago. Meanwhile, a patrol officer makes a traffic stop on a subject who is found carrying the detonator to explode the atomic bomb. While interrogating this suspect it is learned that there are two detonators. Following leads on the second detonator detectives confirm that the bomb is now ready to explode. The federal government gets involved, but are paralyzed at the top trying to decide how to proceed in using the necessary means to extract information from the only man who can provide that information, the man arrested with the detonator. A time line is learned through interrogation and only hours are left before the nuke goes off. Political considerations hamstring investigators until there is no more time left. Detectives work frantically to elicit information from the suspect. What would you do to learn where that bomb is before it kills everyone and everything that you know and love?
