Publisher's Synopsis
Grandpa tells the children about the starstone on their livestock farm in South Africa. On their short excursion to the starstone they interact with nature and some of the animals typical to the region. A bull, a sungazer and an ostrich teach important attitudes, while stepping-stones are used to cross the stream. The wind supplies information, and the Clapper Lark accompanies them all the way to the starstone. Finally they receive a message from the starstone.
