Publisher's Synopsis
In this volume, "The Spiritual History of Mankind", the author wishes to address human spiritual connections to the very source of spirituality, Allah (SWT). Ruh is the source of spirituality and it comes directly from Allah (SWT)
In the chronology of creation, there appeared many creations on earth, among them are the moving creatures (Dabba), angels and jinn, before human. Mankind is the last of all creations, endowed with physical and spiritual qualities that entitled them to be Allah's trustee and deputy on earth, delegated to him the authority to inherit (from Allah) the earth, and subjugated other creations to their command, to deal with them with justice and fairness. In narrating story of human origin, the author has taken the readers to the beginning of the creation of mankind, our father Adam and mother Hawwa. Adam was created, shaped, and given life (Hayath) with the Order "Kun --Be". When he came into life, AllahSWT blew Ruh into him. It is this Ruh, that made him a spiritual entity. In case of human children, the Ruh is blown (by the angel with Allah's Permission) into the fetus at the end of third forty day period of gestation (Hadith), that makes him spiritual. For Adam, beside being the father of mankind, he worshipped Allah and preach Tauhid. He preached that which he received from Allah. Adam and Hawwa had many children; Seth became the Prophet after Adam, then Idris and then Nuh, and Hud and Saleh, and Ibrahim. After the death of the prophets, people deviated from the teaching of their prophets and started to worship statues, sun moon, stars, stones and trees etc. And AllahSWT kept on sending prophets from amongst them to guide them to Tauhid. Prophet Ibrahim was born in a family of idolators. His father Azar was a polytheist: He used to make idols, worshipped them, and sell them to make his and his family's living. IbrahimAS was opposed to that practice and disagreed with his father. Failing to convince the father and his family, of their wrong-doings, he left his family, along with his cousin sister Sarah and nephew Lut, the only other believers from his family. Ibrahim had two sons: Ismail (from Hagar) and Ishaq from Sarah. There came many generations of prophets and messengers from the lineage of Ishaq. His son Ya'qub had twelve children, the last sons were Yusuf and Ben-Yamin Benjamin). The children of Ya'qub are addressed as "The Children of Israel", after the name "Israel" the other name of Ya'qub. Musa and Harun, the two brothers, Mariam (mother of Isa) and Zakharia (father of Yahyia) were distantly related to Bani Israel. Prophet Muhammad (saw) belonged to the lineage of Ismail, the first born of Ibrahim and Hagar. He completed the mission of preaching Tauid undertaken by Ibrahim (as), completely demolished idolatry, and established Islamic Monotheism in the heart of idolatry and disbelief. In writing the book "The Spiritual History of Mankind", the author has reviewed the literatures and meticulously extracted the information of each spiritual entity.
