Timmy just wants to get home and not have to deal with anyone after a long day at school. But there's a problem. A girl named Molly, who Timmy knows from school, has lost her cat.
While he helps find Molly's cat, they run into Timmy's neighbor Jack, whose backyard inventions mostly just explode. Jack has an invention to show them.
A few minutes later, the three of them are exploring a distant planet, meeting strange creatures and making friends with aliens.
