Publisher's Synopsis

In 1940, The Museum of Modern Art staged a retrospective of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. To accompany the exhibition, MoMA planned to publish a feschrift, commissioning essays from the architectural figures of the day. Wright took issue with certain parts of the book and it was withdrawn. Here it is for the first time.
