Publisher's Synopsis

About this story: This story happens in a little village called Tintagel, a magical place that sits on a high cliff above the wild Atlantic Ocean. King Arthur was born here and Merlin, the magician lived here and so many magical stories about King Arthur and the round table have been told. This story is not about that; it's about the everyday magic that no-one notices, like lost keys suddenly found on the kitchen table, or your favourite teddy sitting on your pillow when you wake up in the morning. How did they get there? Magic! And Tintagel has lots of it. About the layout of this book: I am a retired NHS orthoptist. An orthoptist treats among many other conditions, children who, even with normal vision, have problems with their eyes that make it difficult to read comfortably and therefore find it harder to learn to read. I have published this story on cream paper, which reduces glare and strain on the eyes and also in a larger print, that makes it easier for the young reader to move to the next line. In all, it should make reading a more enjoyable experience. I hope you enjoy reading my story whatever age you are. Rosheen
