The Shepherd and Other Stories is a collection of short stories written by a small group of emerging writers in Ottawa, Ontario. The group met over a one month period, studied the craft of short story writing under the guidance of author and publisher David Allan Hamilton (DeeBee Books). These workshops are held throughout the year under the name Ottawa Writing Workshops and are open to anyone.
