Publisher's Synopsis

"The Sensory Life" is my attempt to reawaken a common interest in poetry. I feel that although there is a passing interest amongst a small crowd, poetry has been forgotten by the majority of the people who might benefit the most from it. I've been writing the poems in this book since I was 4 and the first poem in the book was written at that age. I intended to follow what I believe to be the life cycle of a person. I focus on our nature, birth, growth and learning, love, heartbreak, darkest hour and eventual death. In this book you'll find poems and commentary (in the form of end notes) to explain exactly what I was feeling and thinking for those who often ask the question, "what is this poem really about?"
