Publisher's Synopsis
A boy looks at a painting in his parents' house and asks himself: "How did that painting get there?" The signature showed it was from 1951 and made in Paris. His father told him that the painting was a gift from his aunt and that as a child she had received it from a stranger who knocked on the door of their house in 1946. "It's not possible!", says the boy, "The painting couldn't be delivered in 1946 if it have beem was painted and signed in 1951!"
What he didn't know was that that painting was forcibly painted by the painter who had been his daughter kidnapped by a German officer and who would only have her back when the painting arrived in Brazil. But the painting has other surprises and the plot continues, with this officer disappearing on a mission during the war and the painting remaining in Brazil. Only the painter and his lover know the painting's secret and that's why they leave for Brazil in search of their daughter and the painting Paris.
