The Secret Life of Pemmington Pond is a collection of stories about the turtles, fish and pollywogs who live here. The stories are based on some true events, with a heaping scoop of imagination. It was written by a grandmother and her two grandchildren, based on visits to various places in North Carolina. Follow the adventures of Flo, Moe, Slow, and Joe Turtles, and their leader Big Bad Daddy Turtle as they interact with Will (seven), and Emily (five), and their dog Lucky. This is a short chapter book, meant to be read aloud with a lot of pizzazz.
