Scientists had it right. Despite the warnings, humans had destroyed Earth. The planet had become a Wasteland, a massive trashcan for all those who had fled to the Clean World light years away. After the mass exodus from Earth, the unlucky, left behind on the barren sphere, struggle to survive with the very real consequences of careless and deliberate human actions. Earth in 2504 is not a pleasant place to live. Genetically modified beasts roam the trashed landscape and giant spacecraft drop a deadly rain of garbage from the sky. Zane's survival depends on a brutal life of hunting and scavenging what he can from the Clean World's waste as he circles the landscape in a giant steam powered Wagon. Zane's life is forever changed when he learns that among the garbage heaps several scavengers have found identical precision made metal boxes, clearly not trash, that have been hidden from him and the rest of the Wagon's inhabitants by the Wagon's leader. His search for answers will take him and his friends on a life-threatening journey to escape the Wasteland where they learn even the cleanest places have their dirty secrets.
