The Sawmill Santa takes place in the small village near the Tamarack Lake. With no children her age, Louise is lonely. It's near Christmas, the early winter storm has stopped supplies from coming to the general store, and how is Santa going to find their new home? Louise knows she has to put all her fears and worries behind her. With her papa busy with the sawmill, her mother ill, it's up to her to go to the general store to try to get what she can so they will have a nice Christmas dinner. But with the store shelves all but bare, things don't look so good.
