Publisher's Synopsis
Inspector Chilton is called to an unusual murder case, when he arrives on the scene the victim has his face. The story unfurls when the adopted detective discovers that this murder is connected to his real family and a workhouse ran by Nuns who gave away the babies of unmarried mothers.
Chilton along with his detective sergent look into the case as even more bodies are discovered brutally murdered and discover some horrific information about Chilton, and his adoption, also about his real family and an evil old nun, who ran St Pelagia's home and workhouse.
