As to the Style, I always endeavour to ex ptefs myfelf in a plain and perfpicuous man ner; that the Reader may not lore Time, not wait too long, to know my Meaning. To give an Attendant quick Difpatch, is a Civility, Whether you do his Bufinefs or no. I would nor willingly give any one the Trouble of reading a Period twice over, to know the Senfe of it left, when he comes to know it, he ?lould not think ir' a Recompence for his Pains. Whereas, on the contrary, if you are eafy to your Reader, he will certainly make you an Allow-x a'nce for it, in his Cenfutc.
