The Piegan-Blackfeet Indians survived Indian extermination physical-genocide policies of massacre, starvation, small pox, removal and the whiskey trade conducted by the Territory of Montana. Modern day "Slow Death Measures" genocide by the State of Montana is the illegal white-rule, economicapartheid "reservation/county" government enacted on the Blackfeet Reservation by the Montana Legislature in 1919. Blackfeet allottees reserved treaty lands and tribal sovereignty were usurped by state/county jurisdiction and corporate totalitarianism.
