The Rise of Jordan is the second installment in The Yoga Teacher trilogy. The Yoga Teacher leaves us with two newborns, Telaya Mathews and Jordan Li, daughters of Sharina and Chana. As the girls grow, they become sisters within a special lineage of Abenaki and Asian descent. They have abilities so powerful that wealthy forces, both private and governmental, fear them. As a teen, Jordan allows herself to be captured and locked up at the Northfield Detention Center just over the Canadian border. Telaya's journey to help accomplish her sister's plan weaves together their family of loved ones as well as outsiders. Telaya's determination to reach her sister is further challenged by the diminished signal that naturally transmits between them.
