Tarzan, after valiantly giving up Jane to another man, is sent on special assignment to North Africa. While escaping a new Russian enemy he discovers Opar, the city of gold, buried in the midst of the Jungle. But beneath its tranquil facade, he encounters La, the high priestess of the Flaming God, brutal men, savage women and a blood stained altar of sacrifice. Tarzan must lead a tribe of primitive warriors through the ancient crypts to escape the evils of Opar!
