Publisher's Synopsis
Product Description
" In this volume, we hear more of Sherlock Holmes' prowess and his own interpretation of the law. (Of this, I believe that we can already clearly see and understand his sense of justice in The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes.) I was glad to see his display of decoding (I have always had a particular interest in this topic), as well his other methods of solving his singular cases. (I will remember fondly how he tried, most vigorously, to spear that carcass of the dead pig... all in order to test his theories.)
It is with sadness that I will lay aside this volume, but the time I've spent reading the works related to Holmes has been the most sensational I have had for a time. A truly great read. "
