Feedingstuffs form an integral part of the feed/farm/animal/human food chain. This report is the result of a comprehensive investigation into the risks involved with different animal feedingstuffs. The Expert Group found that the feed industry is currently regulated by extensive controls which are, in most areas, effective in safeguarding food for human consumption. Recommendations are given to improve this situation even further.
