It's officially summer vacation which means no school, pool parties every other day, and a little sprinkle of magic. Any other year, Talia Summers would have been thrilled for this time of season but instead, all she feels like she's been doing is worrying. Everything is different now, a large gap of time has passed and all she wishes was for life to be normal again. As she navigates through her new life, new questions begin to arise about Noel's past, mysterious creatures appear in her beloved realm, and she begins to learn about the existence of new realms.
