Publisher's Synopsis
The Rat Catcher's Daughter is the story of a young girl sold by her family to a powerful man who's only interest in her is to make a profit. Her world changes forever when her father and uncle take her on a trip to parts unknown and leave her there thinking it the best they can do for her. Her life changes in an instant, she is educated and trained for the market and then sold to a foreigner in what appears to be an arranged marriage. Her life again changes when the foreigner leavers her, believing he has only had a moment of fun and takes the very caviler approves to leaving something unwanted behind. She on the other hand has prepared for this moment and revels in her freedom.
