Publisher's Synopsis
While playing in the forest, two best friends, Remy and Timmy, find a cool red wagon made out of plastic blocks in front of an orange house. Each time they visit, they find new toys in front of the same house and enjoy playing with them.
Later they discover that these toys are built by a mystery rabbit who likes to watch them play from his window. They wonder why he won't come out to play with them.
Find out how Remy Raccoon and Timmy Turtle make friends with Richie Rabbit who has autism. They learn that there are all kinds of friendships. Each friendship may be different because of how you communicate, play, and learn to share things together. They find out that their differences don't change the laughter and fun to be had as friends. These three friends learn they are more alike than different, and that friendship is meant for everyone.
The Rabbit in the Window is the start of a series of stories that celebrate and illustrate acceptance, inclusion, and the beauty of diversity.
