Megan Cooper hit rock bottom after a decade of surviving life as a hooker. That's when a volunteer reached out from New Name, an anti-exploitation agency. Megan agreed to meet and welcomed an alternative plan for her life, one with Jesus Christ. Change was hard. Megan struggled to give up the fast money and luxuries. With each "date," she lost more dignity and identity. Her split personality, Carmen, also challenged Megan's decision to follow Christ. But Jesus began renewing her mind and unraveling the lies and chains of bondage.

Today Megan Cooper is the founder of Woman at The Well Ministry. She teams up with New Name and visits women at strip clubs in Saint Louis, Chicago, and southern Wisconsin. She also enjoys praying and evangelizing at homeless tent
communities in Saint Louis. Megan leads women's groups at churches on issues such as boundaries and tips for spiritual growth in Christ. She attends a small group led by author Priscilla Lack which dives deep into the workbook, Unlocking the Wounded Heart.
